Meet the Photographer

I am an Indian wildlife photographer and explorer based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, driven by a self-taught journey shaped by patience, perseverance, and a deep passion for the natural world. My photographic path began with a basic camera and a simple curiosity, gradually revealing the intricate beauty and quiet stories hidden within nature. What started as an appreciation soon evolved into a lifelong commitment to wildlife photography.

My pursuit of moments in the wild has been an unplanned yet deeply fulfilling evolution. Through my lens, I have learned to understand habitats, read landscapes, and seek out places where species truly belong. Each journey involves long hours, silent waits, and immersive exploration, allowing me to witness wildlife in its most authentic form. These experiences have transformed me from a mere observer into a participant within nature’s delicate balance.

I find my greatest joy in storytelling through images, capturing not just subjects, but emotions, environments, and fleeting moments that often go unnoticed. Every frame reflects a connection built on respect for the wild and an appreciation for its unpredictability.

Among all wildlife, owls hold a special place in my heart. Their mystery, adaptability, and nocturnal beauty have inspired me to dedicate years to photographing them across the world. This passion led me to achieve the milestone of photographing 100 owl species around the world, becoming one of the very few Indian wildlife photographers to reach this landmark. Behind every species is a story of persistence, extensive planning, countless sleepless nights, and expeditions across deserts, rainforests, mountains, islands, and frozen landscapes.

While photographing 100 owl species is a milestone I will always cherish, it is only one step in a much bigger journey. My ultimate dream is to photograph every owl species on the planet, documenting their presence across diverse habitats and cultures while sharing the stories behind each encounter.

I consider myself fortunate to walk this path, constantly learning, exploring, and sharing stories from the wild. Through my work, I hope to inspire a deeper appreciation for nature and encourage others to protect the remarkable wildlife that makes our planet so extraordinary.
